Sepang International Circuit
The Sepang International Circuit, often described as the 'crown jewel' of Malaysian motorsports, is a premier racing facility located approximately 45 kilometres south of Kuala Lumpur and adjacent to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Designed by renowned architect Hermann Tilke and opened in 1999, the 5.543-kilometre track is globally celebrated for its unique layout, which features long, high-speed straights and a challenging mix of tight and sweeping corners that provide excellent opportunities for overtaking. While it famously hosted the Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix until 2017, the circuit remains a key fixture on the international calendar, especially as the long-standing home of the FIM MotoGP Malaysian Grand Prix, and is known for testing drivers and riders with its high temperatures and unpredictable tropical downpours.

PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit (PETRONAS SIC) is the premier motorsport venue in Malaysia, often dubbed the “Crown Jewel of Malaysian Motorsports.”
Inaugurated in 1999 and designed by the renowned Hermann Tilke, the 5.543 km circuit is famous for its combination of long, high-speed straights and challenging, sweeping corners, which offer ample overtaking opportunities.
